NEARLY 500+ PC. COLLECTION AMERICANA FINE ART PUGET SOUND, INLAND NW (SPOKANE), AND MORE PAINTINGS

FOUR + DECADES I am a very passionate, prolific award-winning artist, creating acrylic-on-canvas paintings, pastel sketches, and pen and ink drawings in the friendly AMERICANA style for many decades. See dozens of SPRING INTO SUMMER images throughout my website with over 30 works on my COMMISSION page.

DUAL CAREER PATH I chose a rewarding dual career path, creating fine art and then using my digital graphic design skills to turn the finished images into prints, cards, calendars, jigsaw puzzles and more. Digital design has changed the art and graphics world dramatically since I finished my very first painting. With software like Adobe's Creative Suite (especial PhotoShop and In-Design), there's nothing you can't do with a little patience and imagination.

FIRST EXHIBIT I've painted, sketched and designed all of my life, introducing my work in the late 1960s when I was just 18-years-old. This exhibit took place through my association wit the Holy Names Sisiters at Fort Wright College in Spokane, WA.

A BIG CHANGE IN MY LIFE My life has gone through a huge change as I just lost my wonderful husband Doug in September 2023 after along battle with cancer. Most folks did not know how tough his battle was, as he was such an other-conscious, positive guy who really loved people and life. He believed in me and supported my passion for creating in hundreds of ways, always with his engaging grin and "can do" attitude.

Visit my BIOGRAPHY page for details on how my Americana art career began and developed over the decades, the people who helped me along the way (yes, Doug was at the top of that list), my awards, accomplishments, press clippings, involvements with several Washington State communities, charitable causes I still support ~ and more. There are many settings and subjects I want to re-create in the years ahead, and I hope Dougie's spirit stays with me to inspire!

Below I've shared a detailed list of all the fine art items available from this website. You'll also learn how to be on my VIP (Very Important Patron) List ~ plus information about the mailings I do each year.

COMING SOON! BELOVED MANITO PARK SPRING ART SHOW

MANITO PARK'S ART SHOW AND MEET & GREET Just a week after Manito Park's June 1st semi-annual Plant Sale, the park presents it's 4th Annual Art Show (my third participation) on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This much-anticipated event benefits the park and its very active stewardship group, the Friends of Manito (TheFriendsOfManito.org). This worthy fundraiser is gaining momentum each year!

ARBOR CREST'S ART & GLASS FEST Spokane Valley's Arbor Crest Cellars presents its Art & Glass Fest on August 24th & 25th. Dozens of artists and crafters participate annually. I've been part of this for over a decade, making lifelong friends, including the family who owns the setting. The Cellars used three of my Arbor Crest portraits to promote the festival over the years. Highlight ~ Find my NEW "Four Seasons of Arbor Crest" puzzle below and on the CALENDARS+ page. I'm so grateful to Marcia Mielke for help with images for the NEW "Autumn Brilliance at Arbor Crest" painting.

You'll find all the details on these two SPRING INTO SUMMER Meet & Greets on my ART VENUES page. Hope to see you!

Please know that even though I'm working on commissions and projects for friends, it's taken many months to feel as though I'm getting some my balance back as Doug was such a big part of it. Find NEW cards and two NEW puzzles at the Meet & Greets (above) and at the settings listed on my ART VENUES page, with more to come by the Holiday Season.
